Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – Quick Movie Review

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is one of the five spin-off films in J. K. Rowling’s Potter-verse. It takes us to a new age, decades before Harry Potter and half a world away. I would like to thank Brand Philosophy for the experience and the goodies.  I am rating the movie 4 out of 5 stars. The movie feels like a more adult Potter film, but still curious and remarkable. It is Rowling’s first such credit since her script was used here. Story There are developing dangers in the wizarding world of 1926 New York. Something mysterious is leaving a path of devastation in the streets, threatening to expose the wizarding community to the Second Salamers, a fanatical faction of No-Majs (muggles) bent on eliminating them. And the powerful, dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, after inflicting havoc in Europe, has slipped away… and is now nowhere to be found. Unacquainted of the rising tensions, Newt Scamander arrives in the city nearing the end of a global excursion to research and rescue magical creatures, and …

Amidst the daily grind of the working Filipino and the continued rise of daily expenses, entertainment and relaxation may seem like luxuries nowadays. With night outs typically spent during or after payday, splurges on cinema tickets or expensive concerts now become an unpractical habit in rewarding one’s self. Liebster Award 2016 x Peanut Butter Bites

Back in the year 2008, awards and “tags” were famous among bloggers. It was the year where you would find more bloggers across the globe. You would get to know more about a blogger if he or she gets tagged, and participated. Then years has passed, awards and “tags” became a rare thing on the blogosphere. So I would like to thank Mei for nominating me for Liebster Award. The Liebster Award 2016 is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. The award is a way to be discovered but also to connect and support the blogging community. A great idea in promoting your own blog and others. Originally it was given out to blogs with less than 2000 readers but this has slowly lowed as the reward has gained popularity. It is now only 200 readers or less. If you …

Things I Should Start/Stop Doing

Because I seriously need to get my life together. Start: Running – I hate sports or sports hates me. IDK. But I want to start running because I feel like I’m physically unfit. I don’t want to wait for that moment when my strength is needed, and I don’t have any to offer. Drinking water – I’m no water drinker. To be honest, I cannot complete eight glasses of water every day. I would say I only consume two glasses of water, and that’s a shame. I replace water with colored drink; usually coffee and tea. People would notice that my lips were dry. So, I downloaded an app to remind me on drinking water. It’s called WaterMinder. Blogging more – Years before, I usually update my blog regularly, exchange comments with my fellow bloggers, and attend blogger meetups. This was the time when blogging is all about sharing. But now, things have changed. People blog solely to earn. I have visited famous bloggers in the Philippines and I noticed that they do not reply to comments. But there are …
